Carrot kobbari koora ~carrot coconut curry

carrots -1/2 kg
oil -1tbsp
onion -1
green chillies -2

red chilli powder -1/4 tsp
dry coconut powder -1/4 cup
mustard seed -1/4 tsp
chana dal -1/4 tsp
urad dal -1/4 tsp
red chillies -3
curry leaves -2
cilantro for garnish

preparation
First peel and grate the carrots.
Take a pan add 1 tbsp of oil  .add mustard seeds  ,urad dal ,chana dal and red chillies and fry them.
When they splutter add onions,curry leaves and green chillies .
When onions are turn light brown add grated carrots ,salt and turmeric,mix well and cover with a lid .
Let it cook for 15 min  ,when its done add dry coconut powder and red chilli powder ,garnish with cilantro.
Serve with a hot rice.
