Ingredients:
1 cup besan (gram flour)
2 cups rice powder
1 tea spoon chilli powder
1 tea spoon salt (as per taste)
2 tea spoons Ajwain (carom seeds) ,(వాము )
4 tea spoons Til (sesame seeds)
a pinch of hing
1 tbsp of ghee
Oil for deep fry
First besan and rice powder and take into a bowl. Head a table
spoon of oil and add to it. Mix well. Add sesame seeds, carom seed,
hing, chilli powder and salt. Mix well and make a soft dough adding
sufficient water
Heat Oil in a frying pan. Fill the dough in a chakralu maker and
make chakralu directly in the oil (or on a plastic sheet greased with oil
and drop carefully into the oil)
Deep fry the Jantikalu (chakralu) until golden color in a medium flame and drain on a kitchen paper. let it cool completely
Andhra Style Jantikalu ( Chakralu) are ready........Store it in a air tight container....
